The Institution of Engineers (I) Students' Chapter : This Chapter actively organizes seminars and training programmes to impart the latest trends in Civil Engineering.

Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE)Student's Chapter: The main activity of this chapter is to help students in all round development by conducting different events.

Civil Creativity Corner (CCC) was started to encourage the practical and modeling skills of the students.

Cheyutha -A voluntary student organization started with three main streams namely Rise & shine, Nerve to Serve and Power House. The main motto of these streams is to reduce the failure rate, improve practical knowedge, create a platform for knowledge sharing, to incultate the habit of giving and to help the students in their journey of self discovery.

'Manam' Organisation started with the concept of serving the poor and helping the needy people.

National level students' Technical Symposium "SUPERNOVA" is organized by Department of Civil Engineering every year, In which students from various college across the state participated and exhibited their technical skills.

Our Students actively participated in the survey conducted by Bhimavaram Muncipality in connection with the Swatch Bharat Mission and received certificate of appreciation from the Municipal Authorities.

Department of civil engineering organized two week AICTE sponsored Faculty Development Program on " Latest software applications in civil engineering" from 23rd October, 2017 to 4th November, 2017.

Department of civil engineering conducted one day seminar on " Geotechnics for expansive soils" on 18th March, 2017.

A field visit to Polavaram project and Pattisam lift irrigation project is organized on 11th November, 2017 for third year civil engineering students.

Department of civil engineering conducted a seminar on "pollution issues - consequences and remedies" in collaboration with NGO organisation on 21st January, 2017.

Department of civil engineering organized Engineer's day celebration on the eve of the birthday of Sri Mokshagundam Visweswaraya in which Dr. G. V. S. Raju, Advisor to chair person, Amaravathi Development corporation, was the chief guest.

Department of civil engineering conducted a workshop on analysis of Tall buildings on 19-20 December, 2016 in collaboration with Robokart.
