In the year 2016, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Govt. of India recognized our Institute as Business Incubator (BI)/Host Institute (HI) for implementation of the scheme "Support for Entrepreneurial and Managerial Development of SMEs through Incubator".
The institute is established MSME Business Incubation Centre – Host Institute to provide opportunity to the innovators in developing and nurturing their new innovative ideas for the production of new innovative products. Host Institution (HI) can explore the new innovative ideas from the Incubatee of various sectors which may be entrepreneurs or students from the any streams. Fifteen ideas / projects are selected in first level of evaluation through MSME Ideathon-2022 and forwarded to MSME for second stage evaluation to sanction funding.
MSME Activities:
The MSME Sub-Committee members were present on 2nd March 2017 at SRKR Engineering College for selection of innovative ideas. 15 ideas are finalized by MSME Sub-Committee and forwarded to the MSME, New Delhi. The Project "Assistive keyboard to access computer for visually challenged people" was selected for funding by MSME.
Again the Sub-Committee members were present on 20th Sept 2018 at SRKR Engineering College for selection of innovative ideas. 10 ideas forwarded for MSME-New Delhi Central Committee for final selections.
