WET Centre of SRKREC has conducted an extensive survey of Canal water in Godavari Western Delta covering 806 villages and 5 cities of 2450 Sq Kms. The survey results have been presented by Dr. PARK Raju garu, Project PI, in the stake holder workshop conudcted on 6th December 2021 as part of the EU-India H2020 funded project "Strategic Planning of Water Resources and Implementation of Novel Biotechnical Treatment Solutions and Good Practices (SPRING)". The survey resulted in shocking results and stated that the water contamination is already at alarming levels and immediate action is recommended by the committee.

K Bala Sindhuri, Assistant Professor of ECE Department has been awarded with PhD from JNTU Kakinada University for her thesis titled "VLSI Architecture for Reconfigural SIR Filters" under the supervision of Dr. K Padma Vasavi, HOD of ECE, Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women, Bhimavaram and Ex-rector of JNTUK Dr Shanti Prabha.

Dr. K. Brahmaraju, Professor and Head of Mechanical Engineering department of SRKREC has been elected as a member of the National Council of Institution of Engineers (IEI), India. A total of 32 members contested in the Mechanical Engineering Division and Dr. Brahmaraju garu won the elections and secured a second consecutive term.

SRKREC signed Memorandum of Understanding with software firm Blackbuck Engineering Company on 27th November 2021. College principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju garu and CEO of Blackbuck T Anuradha signed the MoU and exchanged them. The MoU is aimed at providing triaing on latest technologies - Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning for students and faculty of SRKREC.

2 Students Dulam Sri Siva Gayatri Devi (4/4 ECE) and Sireesha Burgala (4/4 CSE) secured a six month internship in Amazon with Rs.80,000/- per month as stipend which will be further converted into a full time job with Rs.44 Lakhs Per Annum. The college management congratulated both the students and the placement team for this success.
