The students of NSS Unit at SRKR Engineering College had conducted a health camp at Kallakuru Village. The doctors from prominent hospitals had diagnosed the villagers for various health issues and had given free medicines. This programme was held with the backdrop of 'FIT INDIA-HEALTHY INDIA'. Dr. Neeladri Raju, college NSS Coordinators Mr. KNV Satyanarayana, Mr. JNS Suryanarayana, E. Suresh and the village administration along with the students of SRKR had rendered their services in this noble initiative.
The Dean Placements of SRKR Engg College Mr. KR Satyanarayana had received the Doctorate from GITAM University in the stream of Mechanical Engineering. He had done his research on the topic of 'Fabrication and Characterization and Micro structural Studies of 6063 Alumini Alloy Nano Composites'. His research would be adding value to the sectors of Automobiles and Industry. The Secretary and Correspondent of SRKR Engineering College Sri. S. Vital Ranga Raju garu, Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju garu, HOD of Mechanical Dept Dr. Brahma Raju garu and other faculty members felicitated Dr. Satyanarayana and wished him all the best for his future endeavors.
The students of SRKR Engineering College had held a SWACHBHARAT campaign at Kallakuru village as a part of the NSS camp and created awareness to the villagers on this noble initiative. This campaign was held with the aim of 'FIT INDIA-HEALTH INDIA' from ZP High School to Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple. NSS Faculty Coordinators along with the Sarpanch and Vice-Sarpanch of the village had participated in this programme.
Mr. Ankireddy Sai Praveen, the student of SRKR Engg College had achieved 14th Rank in the GATE examination and got accolades to the institution. The Secretaty and Correspondent of SRKR Engg College Mr. S. Vital Ranga Raju garu and Principal of SRKR Engg College Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju garu felicitated Mr. Praveen and wished him all the best for his future endeavors. They suggested the students to get inspired from Mr. Praveen and dream high and achieve great results. Speaking on this occasion Mr. Praveen had said that though he got a very good job opportunity in campus placements, he had always dreamt of doing research in atomic sector. He aspires to become a scientist at Baba Atomic Research Center and do service to the country. HOD of ECE dept Dr. N. Uday Kumar and other faculty conveyed their warm wishes to Mr. Praveen on his achievement.
The Dept of EEE at SRKR Engg College is conducting a Technical Symposium named as 'APOORVA' on 26th & 27th of March, 2022. The poster relating to the same was inaugurated by the Secretary and Correspondent of SRKR Engg College Sri. S. Vital Ranga Raju garu. This Programme is being conducted with the collaboration and support of the alumni who are in the prominent positions in the industry. The alumni in various foreign countries would connect to the students in virtual mode and some of the alumni will visit the campus physically and interact with the students. Industry experts are also going to be a part of this symposium. Principal of SRKR Engg College Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju garu and Head of EEE Dept Dr. BHRK Varma urged the students to make use of this opportunity and enhance their knowledge. Mr. Kiran Kumar and Mr. Rajasekhar Reddy are acting as coordinators for this symposium.
