Women Empowerment Cell wing of Dept of EEE at SRKR Engg College had come up with a novel idea and conducted awareness program on physical, psychological and emotional changes in puberty to the teen girls named as 'A DAY WITH TEEN GIRLS'. The aim of this session is to bring awareness to the young girls of the local community about physical fitness, health & hygiene, psychological and emotional changes in puberty and also about misconceptions and taboos associated with menstruation. Dr. D. Vijaya, Gynecologist of Bhimavaram Hospitals enlightened the target audience. Principal of SRKR Engg College Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju and Head of EEE Dept Dr. BHRK Varma also took part in this programme. This programme was coordinated by Ms. I. Swetha

As a part of the NSS Unit, the students of SRKR Engineering College had planted the saplings in the villages of Kallakuru, Jakkaram, Kalla and Doddanapudi with the backdrop of 'FIT INDIA:HELATH INDIA'. Free mega health camp was also organized where the villagers are treated for various health related issues and free medicines are delivered to them by Dr. Neeladri Raju and team. Students had conducted a door to door survey in the village regarding the various health issues of the villagers. Coordinators of SRKR NSS Unit Mr. KNV Satyanarayana, P. Uday Raju and VNV Harsha coordinated this noble initiative.
The students of NSS Unit at SRKR Engineering College had conducted a health camp at Kallakuru Village. The doctors from prominent hospitals had diagnosed the villagers for various health issues and had given free medicines. This programme was held with the backdrop of 'FIT INDIA-HEALTHY INDIA'. Dr. Neeladri Raju, college NSS Coordinators Mr. KNV Satyanarayana, Mr. JNS Suryanarayana, E. Suresh and the village administration along with the students of SRKR had rendered their services in this noble initiative.
The Dean Placements of SRKR Engg College Mr. KR Satyanarayana had received the Doctorate from GITAM University in the stream of Mechanical Engineering. He had done his research on the topic of 'Fabrication and Characterization and Micro structural Studies of 6063 Alumini Alloy Nano Composites'. His research would be adding value to the sectors of Automobiles and Industry. The Secretary and Correspondent of SRKR Engineering College Sri. S. Vital Ranga Raju garu, Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju garu, HOD of Mechanical Dept Dr. Brahma Raju garu and other faculty members felicitated Dr. Satyanarayana and wished him all the best for his future endeavors.
The students of SRKR Engineering College had held a SWACHBHARAT campaign at Kallakuru village as a part of the NSS camp and created awareness to the villagers on this noble initiative. This campaign was held with the aim of 'FIT INDIA-HEALTH INDIA' from ZP High School to Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple. NSS Faculty Coordinators along with the Sarpanch and Vice-Sarpanch of the village had participated in this programme.
