EEE Dept of SRKR was going to organize SANKALP 2K22 a National Level Student Symposium on 7th and 8th of May, 2022 Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said. The poster of the same was being inaugurated by CEO of SRKR Sri. SRK Nishanth Varma. Program convener and EEE HOD Dr. Varma had said that Students would be given training on various technical issues and various competitions would be conducted on these two days. Secretary and Correspondent of SRKR Sri. SV Ranga Raju had urged the students to make use of this symposium as a way for their bright future. Prof K. Swetha and I. Swetha Mounica will act as faculty coordinators and Mr. A. Harsha, Mr. P. Vamsi, Mr. A. Aditya and Ms. P. Jhansi will act as student coordinators for this symposium.
NIPUNA a two day event on recent changes in the industry by ISTE Student Chapter is being inaugurated on 22nd April, 2022 at SRKR Engg College by D. Somsekhar, Principal ML Scientist at Wadhwani Institute of AI, Bangalore. Speaking on this occasion he said that Engineering students should have grip on the group subjects in order to have a competitive edge in the today’s society. He emphasized that students should have command over the language and they should participate in various National and International events in order to have a bright future. Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that it was really a matter of great pride and inspiration that the prominent alumni of the college are rendering their services for the growth of the institution. ISTE Faculty advisor Prof. P. Subbarao had presided over the meeting. ISTE Student Chapter Chairperson SSV Giridhar and Secretary Harshavardhan took care of the various arrangements of this event. The management had felicitated Mr. D. Somsekhar in a grand manner.
IT Dept of SRKR Engg College is conducting 12 hours hackathon named TECHTHON on 5th May, 2022, Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju garu had said. IT Dept HOD Dr. BHV Ramakrishnam Raju had said that interested students should send their concepts by 30th of April, 2022. After scrutinizing the ideas, the shortlisted students would only be allowed to participate in this event. Students from any engineering stream can participate in this event. SRKR CEO Sri. SRK Nishanth Varma had inaugurated the poster of TECHATHON. Departments of IT, CSBS and AIDS in collaboration with Computer Society of India Student Chapter are going to organize Two Day National Level Symposium TECHFLEET 2K22 on May 7th and 8th. IT HOD Dr. BHV Ramakrishnam Raju is the Coordinator of this event and Dr. I. Hemalatha and Dr. K. Kishore Raju would act as Co-Coordinators and S. Jeswanth Sai and K. Bindu Maduri will act as Student Coordinators.
A Workshop of 15 days by CSE Department has started on 27th April, 2022. Chief Guest of inaugural function of this workshop was Mr. Anand Datla, who was from Natural Solutions Language Home NGO from Hyderabad. He urged the students to do collaborative projects with various IT companies right from the engineering stage so that they would have a fair understanding of the latest trends of the industry. CEO of SRKR Mr. SRK Nishanth Varma had said that many software companies are coming forward to give free internships to the students and many of the students at SRKR are now undergoing internships at prominent companies on latest technologies. Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that it is mandatory under National Education Policy for every student to gain expertise in various areas. IT Dept HOD Dr. BHV Ramakrishnam Raju and CSE HOD Dr. Chandrasekhar had said that the students who had excelled in this workshop will be provided with free internship. Selected students from CSE and IT branches will be participating in this workshop.
The Annual Sports Day celebrations of SRKR Engg College are being held on 23 rd April, 2022
evening in the college premises. Chairman of AP Legislative Council Sri. K. Moshen Raju, MLA
of Undi Constituency Sri. M. Ramaraju and ASP of West Godavari District Sri. Subbaraju
attended the same as the prominent guests along with President of Management Committee Sri.
S. Prasada Raju, Secretary & Correspondent Sri. SV Ranga Raju, CEO Sri SRK Nishanth
Varma, Director Sri. Jeeva Sagar and Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju. The guests emphasized
the importance of sports in human life and suggested the students to take part in sports actively
through which they will have a sound body and mind. Awards were being presented to the staff
and students who excelled in sports events conducted at college level. Physical Director Dr. P.
Satyanarayana Raju along with his team had coordinated this event. HOD’s, Deans and Faculty
Members along with large number of students attended this event.
