The People Association of Inner Engineering (PAIE) Cell at SRKR had conducted a student empowerment programme ‘YES+ DAY’ on 13th May, 2022. Speaking on this occasion Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that students should mould themselves in a healthy and spiritual path towards which they can be of immense help to others and the society. It is with this prime objective that the PAIE Cell was constituted. Dr. P. Bhavani Incharge of PAIE Cell and HOD of Chemistry Dept presided over this meeting. Speaking on this occasion guests had said that various programmes under PAIE Cell including Sudarshan Kriya have been done to help the students with the divine blessings of Pandit Ravi Shankar Ji. Secretary& Correspondent of SRKR Sri. SV Ranga Raju had appreciated the students for being a part of this noble initiative. Personality Development Experts Dr. Subbaraju, Seetharama Raju and P. Ramesh Raju had participated in this programme along with a large number of students.

5 Students from CSE had been selected to Wal-Mart at an package of Rs. 23.39 LPA.
5 Students from CSE, ECE and Mechanical had been selected to a software firm Gainsight with an offer of Rs. 9.25 LPA.

Placement Dean Dr. Satyanarayana had said that many companies had visited the campus this season and many more are yet to visit the campus. HOD's of CSE, ECE, Mechanical and English Departments had participated in this occasion.
Prominent film actor and former Professor of SRKR Sri. Sudarshan Rao had interacted with the staff and students of SRKR Engineering College on 12th May, 2022. He said that it is only through individual development the society will be developed. Teachers should maintan a friendly relationship with the students. It is the teacher’s duty to provoke anxiety and enthusiasm among the students towards the studies. Every human being should introspect everyday whether he is in the development mode or not through which he will be successful. Everyone should have clarity in their thoughts in language through which he can clearly define himself to others. Everyone should pay proper attention to their mental fitness too. Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had presided over this meeting. Secretary& Correspondent of SRKR Sri. SV Ranga Raju had felicitated the guest on behalf of the management.
The Mechanical Dept had started a noble initiative of giving free training to the polytechnic students of SMVM Polytechnic, Tanuku on CAD Design for one week. The training session has been inaugurated at the campus yesterday. Speaking on this occasion HOD of Mechanical Dr. Brahmaraju had said that students should upgrade themselves in accordance with the latest technologies and then only they can land in their dream job. India is today marching ahead in Industrial Revolution and is in dire need of skillful employees from ITI, Polytechnic and Engineering streams and the students with latest skills and technologies will only have a bright career. The dept had already created awareness sessions on Mechanical Engineering at the school level by an initiative named as 'Prajna'. Mechanical Dept staff had participated in this programme.
IT Dept at SRKR Engg College had conducted 12 hours uninterrupted hackathon named as TECHFLEET2K22 where engineering students had developed web portals using the latest technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. 10 student groups were shortlisted for this programme from various colleges across the state. The student group from SRKR stood first in this competition where they developed an education portal which will be significant help to the students while selecting the educational institutes where they want to pursue their education. Second place was secured by the students of CSE who developed an android application with latest algorithms which will help the vehicles to detect the speed breakers and major disruptions on the road while driving. Consolation prize was won by the students of Vasavi Engg College, Tadepalligudem who developed a boat which will work with the solar energy and in the absence of solar energy this boat also works on diesel. Secretary&Correspondent of SRKR Sri. SV Rangaraju, Principal of SRKR Sri. M. Jagapathi Raju and HOD of IT Dept Dr. BHV Ramakrishnam Raju had congratulated the students for being a part of this novel programme and urged the students to make use of AI and Machine Learning through which new applications and apps can be developed for the welfare of the society and this would act as a foundation of revolution of communication. Dr. I. Hemalatha, Dr. K. Kishore Raju, BVDS Sekhar, PRSSV Raju had also participated in this programme.
