Valedictory Function of Volley Ball Coaching Camp
SRKR Engineering College 24 May 2022


The volleyball coaching camp at SRKR which is being conducted for the last one month has ended on 24th May, 2022. Speaking on this occasion former national volleyball player and trainer Dantuluri Prabhakar Raju had said that students will excel in the field of sports only through continuous commitment and hard work. Former National Volleyball Player Shivaji Raju had said that studies can land in good jobs at state and central level by excelling in the field of sports and students should give importance to sports too along with academics. Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that the college management is willing to support the students in the area of sports and that is the reason for many SRKR students being placed in University team for many national events. Sports kits were being handed over to students who took part in this camp. Physical Director of SRKR Dr. P. Satyanarayana Raju had presided over this meeting. Assistant Physical Directors Dr. Harimohan and G. Sarika also took part in this meeting.

EEE Department Organizes Project Expo
Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE Dept) 23 May 2022


The Dept of EEE had conducted Project Expo on 23rd May, 2022. Speaking on this occasion Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that students should convert these projects into startups and then only it would be beneficial to the society. He said that students should do projects with minimum investment and maximum results. He emphasized that if students come forward with good projects, college is ready to invest in them and mould them into startups. Special attraction of this expo was the project which will not allow the vehicle to go forward if the driver is drunk and the ECG machine that was developed by the students. EEE Dept HOD Dr. Varma and faculty DVR Mohan also took part in this expo.

NEET Entrance Examination Centre @ SRKR

Medical PG Entrance examination NEET was conducted in a peaceful manner at SRKR on 21st May, 2022. This was the first time that SRKR was allotted as the examination center for NEET after Bhimavaram was announced as the district headquarters for the new West Godavari District. SRKR Secretary&Correspondent Sri. SRK Nishant Varma said that it was really a matter of pride for the SRKR to be allotted as the test center and he said that SRKR is ready to host as center for any national level examinations. Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that all the arrangements were made for the candidates appearing for NEET keeping in view the temperature and climatic conditions. Total of 152 students were allotted and 137 were present and 15 were absent for the examination. Dr. N. Gopalakrishna Murthy acted as the Chief Superintendent for this examination.

Guest Lecture by ECE Department
Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE Dept) 17 May 2022


The Department of ECE had conducted a guest lecture on the theme Digital Technologies for Older Persons and Healthy Ageing on 17-05-2022. The guest lecture was delivered by Sri.T.N.V.Mani Kumar, Sub Divisional Engineer (Enterprise Business), Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, Tanuku. In Charge Principal and HOD of Mechanical Dept Dr. Brahmaraju had outlined the theme to the students. HOD of ECE Dept Dr. Udaykumar had emphasized the relevance of the theme. Smt.Prathima Gamini, Assistant Professor of ECE Department acted as event coordinator. The Resource person Sri. T.N.V.Mani Kumar has taken session on technical aspects, recent trends and Global insights of Telecommunication. Students of Ist Year ECE and Faculty members participated in this programme.

Blood Donation Camp for Thalassemia Patients Organized

The students of SRKR had donated the blood for the Thalassemia patients at the blood donation camp organized in the college on 18th May, 2022. This camp was organized by the NSS Unit of the college in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society, Eluru. Speaking on this occasion Incharge Principal and HOD of Mechanical Dept Dr. Brahmaraju had said that it was really a matter of great pride and inspiration that the students are participating voluntarily in this noble event. He lauded the services of the NSS and Indian Red Cross Society. He called the students to donate blood at frequent intervals which is good for health and also of great help to others who are in need of it. NSS Coordinator Prasadraju, Programme Coordinator Dr. Krishna Chaitanya, Head’s of various departments Dr. D. Venkatapathi Raju, Dr. P. Bhavani, Dean-Academics Dr. K. Suresh Babu, Assistant Physical Director Dr. Ch. Harimohan, College Engineer Satyanarayana Raju and other staff members participated in this programme.
