Final Year IT student Ms. Yojitha Dandamudi was selected for prominent IT Company WELLS FARGO with a package of 20 LPA. The management had felicitated her on this occasion. The International Yoga Day Celebrations were held in a grand manner at SRKR Engineering College on 21st June, 2022. The yoga postures by the students who are the winners in AICTE Fit India Challenge stood as the special attraction in these celebrations. Chief Guest of this occasion ASP Sri. Subbaraju had said that students should practice yoga through which they will attain mental peace and can emerge victorious in studies too. He congratulated the students who are the winners of the AICTE Fit India Challenge. Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that students of SRKR from the Ist Year itself will be trained in yoga through the S+ course which was yielding phenomenal results. SRKR Engineering College which has already secured top place AICTE Fit India Challenge Category-III has now secured yet again a top place in Category-II too. Speaking on this occasion Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that III Year B. Tech Students Geddam Kumarbabu and P. Noris Swamikiran in the Individual Category had completed the desired yoga postures in 6 minutes and created a record. As per AICTE these postures can be completed in 7 minutes. The results were released by the AICTE yesterday. The students were being felicitated by the Member of the Governing Body Mr. S. Satya Pratik Varma in the college yesterday. President of SRKR Sri. S. The Department of Engineering Chemistry at SRKR Engg College has been conferred with the 'Research Centre' status by the JNTUK. The official proceedings of the same were released by the college management yesterday. Speaking on this occasion, Principal of SRKREC Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that under the National Educational Policy, multidisciplinary studies are given more importance and research centres play a vital role in the promotion of the same. HOD of Engg Chemistry Department Dr. P. Bhavani had said that the faculty in the department are having rich academic and research experience and had published 179 research papers in various reputed journals and conferences. Until now, 8 research projects are also completed by the department. Majority of the faculty in the department had completed their PhD and all the facilities are being provided in the department for the scholars to pursue their research. She urged the scholars to make use of the same and promote research. College President Sri. S. Prasada Raju, Secretary cum Correspondent Sri. SRK Nishanth Varma and Principal Dr. M.
