Alluri Sitarama Raju on the occasion of 'Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' and 125th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Sri. Alluri Sitarama Raju. Speaking on this occasion he said that the patriotism of Sri. Alluri Sitarama Raju should be imbibed by everyone. Coordinator of this event Sri. E. Sitarama Raju had said that Alluri Sitarama Raju has not only fought for the freedom, but he had also served the tribal in their each and very need. The students of SRKR as a part of the Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and 125th Anniversary Celebrations of prominent freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju had conducted patriotic songs competition in the campus where the audience where instilled with pride and devotion towards the country. The 125th Anniversary Celebrations of Prominent Freedom Fighter Sri. Alluri Sitarama Raju had begun at SRKR Engg College on 27th June, 2022. These celebrations had gained major importance in view of the visit of the Honourable Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi to Bhimavaram on 4th of July, 2022. Speaking on this occasion Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that these celebrations should inspire everyone regarding the life and passion of Alluri Sitarama Raju. He said that Alluri had inspired many people in his tender age and made them revolt against the British empire. The youth of this generation should learn about him and imbibe his leadership qualities. He inspired the students to welcome the Honourable PM of India in a very grand manner. Dr. Lakshmi, Dr. Bhavani. Mr. Seetharamaraju, Mr. Prasad and a large number of students took part in this occasion.
Final Year IT student Ms. Yojitha Dandamudi was selected for prominent IT Company WELLS FARGO with a package of 20 LPA. The management had felicitated her on this occasion. Speaking on this occasion Dean Placements Dr. Satyanarayana had said that Yojitha was selected as a Process Associate at Wells Fargo. The prominent road in Bhimavaram which is called as Juvvalapalem Road until now has been officially named as 'Sagi Ramakrishnam Raju Marg' on 26th June, 2022 by MLA of Bhimavaram Mr. Grandhi Srinivas, Collector and District Magistrate of West Godavari District Mrs. P.
