Mr. Vamsi Nagaraju, Assistant Professor in the Civil Dept at SRKR Engineering college had got the Best Paper Presentation Award at the International Conference ACEER 2022 conducted in China from 4th to 7th of July said Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju. Mr. Vamsi had said that along with the award, he received a financial assistance of 800 USD. Best Paper Presentations were awarded to 5 faculties in the world and he is one among them. Governing Body Member of SRKR Mr. Pratik Varma had felicitated Mr. Vamsi on this occasion and said that all the faculty in the college should take this as an inspiration. SRKR Vice President Sri. SV Ranga Raju and Civil Engineering Dept Professor Dr. Padmanadha Raju took part in this occasion.
JNTUK has conferred 'Research Centre' status to the departments of CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, Civil and Mechanical Engineering; Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said. The documents relating to the same were being handed over to Governing Body Member of SRKR, Mr. S. Satya Pratik Varma. Mathematics and Chemistry Departments are already having the research centre status and so it’s a huge opportunity for the young researchers to pursue their research in these 8 departments, principal had said. Mr. Pratik Varma had thanked the VC of JNTUK for grating the research centres and giving an opportunity to promote the research. Vice-President of SRKR Mr. SV Ranga Raju and the HOD’s of CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, Civil and Mechanical Departments participated in this meeting.
The district badminton selections that are being conducted at SRKR from the last 3 days had ended on 10th July, 2022 in a very grand manner. The prizes were distributed to the winners by Governing Body Member of SRKR Mr. Pratik Varma and Vice President of SRKR Mr. SV Ranga Raju. 400 Participants and 650+ matches were being conducted as a part of this event. The West Godavari District Level Badminton selections were inaugurated at the SRKR Engineering College on 8th July, 2022. Speaking on this occasion West Godavari Badminton Association President Smt. Chitturi Satya Usha Rani had said that its high time that the sports should be given prime importance right from the school level, then we can be able to produce some great players. Governing Body Member of SRKR Sri. S. Pratik Varma had said that at SRKR the management is committed to support sports too along with the studies. Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that students should give importance to sports too along with the studies, so that they can grow in their respective careers. Thomas Cup winner and prominent badminton player of India Sri. Srikanth Kidambi inaugurated the event virtually and said that in the coming days more players should represent India at the National Level. He thanked the management of SRKR for giving prime importance to sports. Smt. Usharani was grandly felicitated by the management on this occasion. Vice President of SRKR Sri. The Badminton selections of the old West Godavari District are going to be conducted at the SRKR Engineering College, Bhimavaram from 8th of July, 2022 said Secretary of the District Association Mr. Vamsi Krishna and Organising Secretary Dr. P. Satyanarayana Raju. Interested players are requested to submit the entries by the end of the day on 7th July, 2022. Winners of this selections will be playing at the State Level Championship. Principal of SRKR and Tournament Convener Dr. M.
