DST Funded Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp Organized

Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp was being conducted by the technology centre at SRKR Engineering College for three days. This was inaugurated by the Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju. He addressed the students and asked them to choose the path of entrepreneurship which will create an impact on the society and on the lives of the people. He stated that the youth of the country should develop and mould as entrepreneurs. He reminded the students about the old student of the SRKR college is now earning crores of rupees through his start up at Gujarat. Technology Centre Head Dr. Gopala Krishna Murthy had said that this programme was arranged with the financial assistance of DST and NIMT. Dean R&D of SRKR, Dr. P. Ramakrishna Raju, Dean Academics Dr. Suresh Babu, Dr. Venkatapathi Raju, Dr. M. Suresh Babu took part in this occasion.

SRKR Students Truimph at APSSC Examinations

The alumni of SRKR ECE Dept Mr. John Erwin and Ms. Premanvita had selected in APPSC Exams as Deputy Collector and MPDO respectively. They were felicitated in the college by Secretary Cum Correspondent of SRKR Sri. SRK Nishanth Varma and he expressed his happiness for their achievement and wished them all the best in their future endeavours. Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju, Vice President of SRKR Sri. SV Ranga Raju, ECE HOD Dr. Uday Kumar participated in this occasion.

SRKR Students Get 26.5 Lakhs Funding from MSME

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) of Govt of India had funded Rs.26.5L to the students of SRKR, Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said. Revealing the details, Head of the Technology Centre Dr. Gopi had said that Dept of ECE had got a funding of 8L for Drones which will be used during natural calamities. Dept of Mechanical Engineering got a funding of 3.5L for the drones which will be used to repair the pipes underground. Smart glasses for the partially blind and complete blind people got a funding of 15L. Governing Body Member Mr. Pratik Varma had expressed his happiness about this achievement and urged the students to bring out state of the art products. The entire team who got the funding were felicitated by the college vice president Sri. SV Ranga Raju along with the HODs of CSE, ECE, EEE and Mechanical Departments.

Best Paper Award for Civil Faculty at China International Conference

Mr. Vamsi Nagaraju, Assistant Professor in the Civil Dept at SRKR Engineering college had got the Best Paper Presentation Award at the International Conference ACEER 2022 conducted in China from 4th to 7th of July said Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju. Mr. Vamsi had said that along with the award, he received a financial assistance of 800 USD. Best Paper Presentations were awarded to 5 faculties in the world and he is one among them. Governing Body Member of SRKR Mr. Pratik Varma had felicitated Mr. Vamsi on this occasion and said that all the faculty in the college should take this as an inspiration. SRKR Vice President Sri. SV Ranga Raju and Civil Engineering Dept Professor Dr. Padmanadha Raju took part in this occasion.

JNTUK Grants 6 Research Centres To SRKR

JNTUK has conferred 'Research Centre' status to the departments of CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, Civil and Mechanical Engineering; Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said. The documents relating to the same were being handed over to Governing Body Member of SRKR, Mr. S. Satya Pratik Varma. Mathematics and Chemistry Departments are already having the research centre status and so itís a huge opportunity for the young researchers to pursue their research in these 8 departments, principal had said. Mr. Pratik Varma had thanked the VC of JNTUK for grating the research centres and giving an opportunity to promote the research. Vice-President of SRKR Mr. SV Ranga Raju and the HODís of CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, Civil and Mechanical Departments participated in this meeting.
