The Dept of Chemistry at SRKR Engg College had organised a student expo on integrating science and Technology named as 'ANUSANDHAN'. Speaking on this occasion Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that students can hone their creative skills by such exhibitions. He said that it is really good to know that students have displayed models on AI within 2 to 3 days by developing on their own. HOD of Chemistry Dr. P. Bhavani had said that students have displayed over 100 models. Best models were recognised and honoured with certificates. HOD of Physics, Dr. Ramana Murthy, Dr. Diwakar, Mr. Chandrasekhar, Mr. Kishore, Mr. Nagababu took part in this event.
The Women Empowerment Cell at SRKR Engg College had organized a Workshop on the above topic. Speaking on this occasion Telugu Language Moment President G. Sridevi had said that the violence against women is due to non-following of our traditions and culture by the present generation people. SRKR Vice President Sri. The Constitution Day Celebrations were held in a grand manner at SRKR Engineering College. Speaking on this occasion, Political Science Retired Lecturer Mr. SNV Satyanarayana had said that Indian Constitution is the role model for the whole world, however it should be revised at regular intervals in order to derive maximum benefits. The Women Empowerment Cell at SRKR Engg College had conducted a Workshop on 'Women Harassment-Preventive Measures'. Speaking on this occasion Senior Advocate Mrs. N. Satyavignana Devi had said that strict laws and punishments should be awarded to the people involved in women harassment. Inspite of having many stringent laws the attacks on women are still on a raise. She said that it’s the duty of the parents to raise their children with utmost discipline and then only we can put an end to these incidents. Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that students should not divert their interest towards unwanted incidents and should focus only on their high goals and dreams. The WET Center at SRKR had organized a workshop on 'Strategic Planning for Water Resources, Implementation of Biotechnological Practices (SPRING)' with the eminent scientists from European Union and eminent IITs across the country. Speaking on this occasion, the scientists expressed that in order to provide pure water resources, village or town should be taken as a single unit. He said that it is the duty of everyone to make sure that the globe is pollution free. SPRING project is expected to be complete by coming year. The scientists were briefed about the water resources particulars by BJP Leader Mr. Paka Satyanarayana. Principal Investigator Dr. PA Ramakrishnam Raju, Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju and other eminent academicians took part in this workshop.
