The Dept of ECE at SRKR Engineering College was conducting a one week Online Student Development Programme on "EXPOSURE ON FUNDAMENTALS AND TOOLS USAGE FOR PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION" from 21st March to 25th March, 2022. The poster relating to the same was inaugurated by the Secretary and Correspondent of SRKR Engg College, Sri. S. Vital Ranga Raju garu. This programme was aimed at enlightening the students on various tools that can be used during their project evaluation. The alumni of the college who are in prominent positions in the industry will enlighten the students everyday from 7PM to 8PM as a part of this programme. The Principal of SRKR Engg College Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju and the HOD of ECE Dept Dr. N. Uday Kumar urged the students to make use of this enriching sessions which will provide a platform for the students to equip the latest skills and knowledge through which they can enhance their knowledge.
NSS camp was being organized at Kallakuru Village by SRKR students from 21-03-22. The poster relating to this was inaugurated at the campus by the Secretary and Correspondent of SRKR Engineering College Sri. S. Vital Rangaraju garu. Speaking on this occasion the Principal of SRKR Engg College Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju garu had said that the NSS unit at SRKR was recognized by the State Govt of AP. NSS Coordinator KNV Satyanarayana had said that this programme was being conducted with the slogan of 'FIT INDIA-HEALTH INDIA'. As a part of this camp various activities are being planned as below:
- 21st March: A Survey on needs of the villagers
- 22nd March: Awareness session on Plastic
- 23rd March: Awareness Session On Swach Bharat
- 24th March: Dental camp
- 25th March: Planting of saplings in the Village
- 26th March: Career Guidance and Science Expo to the school students
- 27th March: General Health Camp.
Holi festival has been celebrated in the campus by IT department in the name of Varna. Students have celebrated the festival on 18th March 2022 by hand printing and signing on banners.

4 SRKREC students S Vinaya Kumar, Y Sai Teja Sri, K Harsha, and Md Sabiha have been selected as University Innovation Fellows (UIF) and attended Stanford University Silicon Meet Up to be held on Silicon Valley USA from March 2o to 23 2021. The programee is being conducted in partnership with Google.

WET Centre of SRKREC has conducted an extensive survey of Canal water in Godavari Western Delta covering 806 villages and 5 cities of 2450 Sq Kms. The survey results have been presented by Dr. PARK Raju garu, Project PI, in the stake holder workshop conudcted on 6th December 2021 as part of the EU-India H2020 funded project "Strategic Planning of Water Resources and Implementation of Novel Biotechnical Treatment Solutions and Good Practices (SPRING)". The survey resulted in shocking results and stated that the water contamination is already at alarming levels and immediate action is recommended by the committee.
