IT Dept of SRKR Engg College is conducting National Level Boot Camp and 24 Hours Hackathon starting from Feb 6 th , Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said. The poster relating to the same was released in the campus by Vice President Sri. SV Ranga Raju. Programme Coordinator and HOD of IT Dept Dr. BHVS Ramakrishnam Raju had said that this programme is organized in technical collaboration with Brain O Vision of Hyderabad. Dr. Hemalatha, Dr. Kishore Raju, B.Teja Sri, Saibaba, Satya Varma took part in this event.
An awareness session on 'Ayurveda' was being conducted at SRKR Engg College under the Ayushman
Bharat Scheme. Prominent ayurvedic scientist D. Subbaraju had visited the ayurvedic garden in the
campus and said that nearly 200 different varieties of species are available in the garden. He said
that the college management should explore the chances of setting up an ayurvedic institute too for
the benefit of the people. He said that Ayurveda is the gift of our ancestors for this generation.
Ayurvedic medicines will not have any side effects as compared to English medicines and so
everyone should start using Ayurveda for the healthy life. Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju
had said that he will deliberate with the management on starting the Ayurveda institute or course as
suggested by the guest. Vice President of SRKR, Sri. SV Ranga Raju, Dean R& D Dr. PARK Raju, HOD of EM& H Dr. D. Venkatapathi Raju, NSS Coordinator Dr. Krishna Chaitanya etc took part in this session.
The coaching camp of JNTUK Women Basketball team players was concluded in the SRKR college on
3 rd Jan, 2023. Speaking on this occasion, Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju wished the players
all the best and hoped that they would win accolades in the competitions. Suits were distributed to
the players. PD Dr. Satyanarayana Raju, Assistant PDs Dr. Harimohan, Ms. Sarika and Mr. Avinash
took part in this occasion.
The services of Savitribhai Phule and National Women Faculty Day was celebrated in a grand manner
at SRKR Engg College by the Women Empowerment Cell. Andhra University Computer Science Dept
Senior Professor Dr. Valli Kumari attended the session as chief guest and addressed the faculty. She
said that Phule had rendered the services when there are no infrastructure and this generation
faculty should treat her as a role model. Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had appreciated the
women empowerment cell for conducting this session and had remembered the services rendered
by Phule. Vice President of SRKR Sri. SV Ranga Raju, Women Empowerment Cell Coordinators and
other faculty took part in this session.
Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had wished all the staff and students of SRKR on the
occasion of New Year. Various staff members had met him and wished him on this occasion. He said that Collaborative effort only brings good results and so everyone should work with unity in the path of progress. There were some extremely important achievements that the college had got last year and this year too they must be replicated with more efforts. He said that the management is ready to go to extra mile for the benefit of the institution, staff and students. The staff had met and wished the Vice President of SRKR Sri. SV Ranga Raju garu too.
