The Graduation Day Celebrations at SRKR Engineering College were conducted in a jubilant manner on 17th July ,2022. The Chief Guest of this function was Mr. GSN Raju, Chairman-Appellate Committee of AICTE and VC of Centurion University, Visakhapatnam. He suggested the students to make use of the latest technologies and land in their dream jobs. He said that technology was developing very vastly from the last 10 years and students should make use of this technology. Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had presented a brief report on the achievements of the college and placement statistics. Secretary Cum Correspondent of SRKR, Sri. SRK Nishanth Varma had urged the students to make SRKR proud with their great work and bring laurels to the institution as well as their respective families. SRKR Vice President Dr. Krishnam Raju, Sri. SV Ranga Raju, Dean Evaluation Dr. Muralikrishnam Raju and students along with their parents had participated in large numbers.
The Final Student of CSE, Ms. CH. Mahima Bharathi was placed in Amazon as a software engineer with a package of 44LPA. Secretary Cum Correspondent of SRKR Sri. SRK Nishanth Varma had felicitated her and thanked her for bringing laurels to the college. Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that it is a great achievement that many of the students of SRKR had landed in the jobs with high packages. SRKR Vice President Sri. SV Ranga Raju, Placements Coordinator Dr. Lakshmi, HOD of CSE Dr. Chandrasekhar had participated in this occasion.
Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp was being conducted by the technology centre at SRKR Engineering College for three days. This was inaugurated by the Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju. He addressed the students and asked them to choose the path of entrepreneurship which will create an impact on the society and on the lives of the people. He stated that the youth of the country should develop and mould as entrepreneurs. He reminded the students about the old student of the SRKR college is now earning crores of rupees through his start up at Gujarat. Technology Centre Head Dr. Gopala Krishna Murthy had said that this programme was arranged with the financial assistance of DST and NIMT. Dean R&D of SRKR, Dr. P. Ramakrishna Raju, Dean Academics Dr. Suresh Babu, Dr. Venkatapathi Raju, Dr. M. Suresh Babu took part in this occasion.
The alumni of SRKR ECE Dept Mr. John Erwin and Ms. Premanvita had selected in APPSC Exams as Deputy Collector and MPDO respectively. They were felicitated in the college by Secretary Cum Correspondent of SRKR Sri. SRK Nishanth Varma and he expressed his happiness for their achievement and wished them all the best in their future endeavours. Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju, Vice President of SRKR Sri. SV Ranga Raju, ECE HOD Dr. Uday Kumar participated in this occasion.
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) of Govt of India had funded Rs.26.5L to the students of SRKR, Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said. Revealing the details, Head of the Technology Centre Dr. Gopi had said that Dept of ECE had got a funding of 8L for Drones which will be used during natural calamities. Dept of Mechanical Engineering got a funding of 3.5L for the drones which will be used to repair the pipes underground. Smart glasses for the partially blind and complete blind people got a funding of 15L. Governing Body Member Mr. Pratik Varma had expressed his happiness about this achievement and urged the students to bring out state of the art products. The entire team who got the funding were felicitated by the college vice president Sri. SV Ranga Raju along with the HODs of CSE, ECE, EEE and Mechanical Departments.
