SRKR Engg College under UBA conducted farmers meet at 'Raithu Bharosa Kendram', Peda Amiram village. Speaking on this occasion Prof. Ganesh enlightened the farmers on the concept of 'Organic Farming' so that they can reduce their investment and increase their productivity. He said that the land will lose its fertility because of more fertilizer using. The farmers were distributed with free seeds. Vice President of the village Mr. Kishore, Faculty Dr. Subbarao, Mr. Satyanarayana, Mr. Rambabu participated in this event.
SRKR Engg College UBA Cell had conducted an workshop on 'National Educational Policy' at ZP High School, Kopalle. Prof. R. Subbarao had enlightened the students on NEP and its importance. Dr. Ganesh enlightened on the topic of 'Non-Renewable Energy Sources' and Dr. Kishore enlightened on the topic of 'Water Resources'. Village Coordinator Dr. Rambabu, Principal of Kopalle ZP High School Mr. Satyanarayana Murthy, Faculty Mr. Manikyala Rao, Mr. Ravikumar and members of SRKR WET Center participated in this event.
SRKR Engg College had celebrated 'Kargil Vijay Diwas' in a grand manner and donated Rs. 1L to the 'Armed Forces Flag Day Fund'. The cheque was handed over to the District Sainik Welfare Officer Sri. Prasad Rao by the Vice President of SRKR Sri. SV Rangaraju and Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju. NSS In charge Dr. Krishna Chaitanya and Co-Ordinator Mr. Prasada Raju had said that the college faculty and the students donated this amount to the sainik welfare. Speaking on this occasion Principal of SRKR Dr.M.Jagapathi Raju had said that it is the duty of everyone to support the armed forces who are fighting bravely for the country. Everyone paid homage to the martyred soldiers.
SRKR Engineering College is going to conduct an online workshop on the topic of 'Intellectual
Property Rights, Patents and Design Filing' on 25-07-2022, Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju
had said. The poster relating to the same was released by SRKR Vice President Sri. SV Ranga Raju.
Programme Convener and Dean Academics Dr. Suresh Babu had said that this workshop was being
organised in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Intellectual Property Management
at Nagpur. The resource person of this workshop would be Mr. Kumar Raju, who was the Assistant
Controller of Patents and Designs at Mumbai. HOD of Mechanical Dept Dr. Brahma Raju,
Coordinators Dr. Rajesh and Dr. Charan participated in this meeting.
SRKR Engineering College Women Empowerment Cell in collaboration with Maxivision had conducted a general Eye Medical Camp at Pedda Amiram village. This camp was inaugurated by the Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju. Speaking on this occasion he said that Technological advancements should be made available to the rural areas too. Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, the flagship programme of central Govt is being followed diligently at SRKR and as a part of this the college had adopted five villages in Kalla Mandal and is creating awareness on Ban of Plastic Items, Providing clean drinking water and many developmental aspects. Nearly 200 patients attended this camp and they were provided with free medicines.
