Merit Scholarship of Rs.10000 was being distributed to ECE student Mr. A. Sri Harsha Vamsi by Vice President of SRKR Sri. SV Ranga Raju and Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju. This scholarship was being given by the 2003-07 batch ECE students in remembrance of their friend. This scholarship would be given to the male student who stood first until the end of III Year in ECE branch. HOD of ECE Dr. Udaykumar took part in this event.
Ms. K. Aruna Kumari, Assistant Professor in the Dept of CSE had received her Doctorate Degree from KL University in the field of Cloud Computing. SRKR Secretary & Correspondent Sri. SRK Nishanth Varma and Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had felicitated her on this achievement and wished her all the best for the future endeavours. On this occasion, the management had urged all the young faculty to pursue their research for the benefit of the institution and the society.
Mr. S. Ramalingeswara Rao, Assistant Professor in the Dept of Mathematics at SRKR Engineering College had received the PhD degree from JNTUK. Secretary and Correspondent of SRKR, Sri. SRK Nishanth Varma and Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had felicitated him and congratulated him on his achievement. Mr. Rao had said that he had done his PhD under the guidance of Dr. Deekshitulu from JNTUK and Dr. Vidyasagar from SRKR on the topic of Fluid Dynamics. Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that under the National Educational Policy, it is mandatory for every faculty to have a PhD and urged all the young faculty to complete the PhD at the earliest. Merit Scholarships of Rs. 25000 each bestowed in the name of Origanti Sundari were being awarded to ECE Final Year Student Ms. Kusuma and Civil Final Year Student Ms. Saranya by Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju and Vice President of SRKR Sri. SV Ranga Raju. Speaking on this occasion Alumni Association Coordinators Dr. Viswanadha Raju and Prof. Subbarao had said that these scholarships were being donated by ECE 1995 batch student and presently the Vice President of Multi Billion Dollars Bank Q2 in US Mr. Origanti Siva Bharat. Civil HOD Dr. Prasad and ECE HOD Dr. Uday Kumar took part in this event.
SRKR Engineering College had entered an MOU with Hyderabad based 'SALCIT Technologies Pvt Ltd' to work mutually on research pertaining to healthcare solutions and consultancy services. The agreement documents regarding the same were mutually exchanged by the Vice President of SRKR Sri. SV Ranga Raju, Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju and SALCIT Technologies founder CEO Sri. SVN Narayana Rao. Speaking on this occasion, Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that Sri. Narayana Rao was an elite alumnus of SRKR and his product was recently inaugurated by PM Modi on the occasion of 'Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'. HOD of ECE Dr. Udaykumar had said that Assistant Professors of ECE Dr. Balasindhuri and Venkata Rao with the students of ECE will take this collaborative research ahead.
