The research centre of Mathematics Dept at SRKR Engg College had conducted 3 months training on 'Mathematics and Statistics Applications in R Language' to BV Raju Degree college students and certificates were distributed to the students who completed the same successfully by SRKR Vice President Sri. SV Ranga Raju. Speaking on this occasion Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that the research centres at SRKR are developed in such a way that they are beneficial to the students as well as the researchers. He said that the college is having research centres in Mathematics and Physics departments and urged the students and faculty to make use of the same. This training is conducted as a part of the MOU between SRKR and BV Raju College which was inked in 2020. HOD of Mathematics&Humanities Dept Dr. D. Venkatapathi Raju, Programme Coordinator Dr. R. Upcoming Tollywood movie 'ALLURI' team had visited SRKR college for promotions. Movie hero Sri Vishnu had said that this movie is a message oriented movie and they are very fortunate to shoot the movie in the place where the prominent freedom fighter Alluri Seetharamaraju had born. The college management had felicitated the movie team and wished them all the success ahead. This movie is scheduled to release on 23rd of September. SRKR Vice President Sri. SV Rangaraju, Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju, HOD's of various departments, Deans and large number of students took part in this event.
The NSS Unit at SRKR Engg College had created awareness session on 'National Education Policy' and conducted various competitions on the same at Jhansi Lakshmi Bai Municipal Girls High School, Bhimavaram and certificates were distributed to the meritorious students. Speaking on this occasion, Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that students should start focussing on skill development right from the early stages of their career. NSS Coordinator Dr. Krishna Chaitanya had created awareness to the students on National Education Policy. School Principal P. Srinivasarao took part in this occasion.
Lakshmi Ganapati Homam was being performed at the college premises on the occasion of 'Vinayaka Chavithi Celebrations'. SRKR Vice President Sri. SV Ranga Raju and Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju along with the large number of staff and students took part in this event. Speaking on this occasion Vice-President and Principal had said that the college will raise to new heights with the divine blessings of the almighty and co-operation of the staff and splendid performance by the students.
SRKR Engineering College had emerged as the winner in the National Level 'Smart India Hackathon' and received a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000. This hackathon was conducted under the aegis of AICTE and HRD Ministry at Pune. College students M. Ganesh Babu, P. Pranav Tej, KNV Goutham, Charan Sai, K. Hema Sai Praneeth and G. Aiswarya had developed a web portal and brought accolades to the institution. College students V. Swetha, P Kusuma, P. Manya Sree, Harshavardhan Nayudu, Kishore Kumar, U. Satya Sai had developed a web portal to solve the problems that arises while charging the electric vehicles and stood second at the hackathon conducted at Manipal University, Jaipur.
