The Dept of CSD and Technology Centre are conducting FREEDOM FEST under the aegis of SEWCHA FOUNDATION on 19 th and 20 th of this month, Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said. The poster relating to the same was released in the campus. CSE HOD Dr. Chandrasekhar and CSD HOD Dr. Suresh Babu had said that students participating in this fest will have the chance to participate in 4 workshops on emerging technologies like AI, Web Programming, Electronics etc.
Final Year CSE Students P. Jahnavi and T. Nadiya Bhanu are placed in Morgan Stanley and Amazon with a CTC of 29.5LPA and 25.5LPA Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said. They had also got internships at their respective companies for 6 months with 87K and 50K respectively. Speaking on this occasion, Principal had highlighted the placement statistics of the institution which are the best in the state as of now. The students were felicitated by the Principal, HOD of CSE Dr. Chandrasekhar and HOD of IT Dr. BHVSRK Raju and Placement Office Dr.Satyanarayana.Final Year CSE Students P. Jahnavi and T. Assistant Professor of CSE Dept Mrs. DNSB Kavitha had received her Ph. D from Andhra University,
Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said. She was being felicitated by the management at the
college. Speaking on this occasion Dr. Kavitha had said that she had done her research under the
guidance of VC of AU Dr. Prasad Reddy and University Computer Science and Systems Engineering
Dept Dr. Venkata Rao. She had done her research on the topic ‘Performance Analysis of Machine
Learning Class Fires for Settlement Analysis on Twitter Political Data’. She was congratulated by CSE
HOD Dr. Chandrasekhar and other faculty.
The National Survey Day Celebrations were held at Civil Engg Dept, SRKR Engg College in association
with Institute of Engineers, Bhimavaram Local Centre. Speaking on this occasion Principal of SRKR Dr.
M. Jagapathi Raju had said that Surveying plays a major role in the industrial development of the
country. Surveying has been transformed from Chain Survey to Drone Survey today. The state Govt
which has started new surveying is playing a key role now. Students should be able to learn and
implement the latest surveying techniques. HOD of Civil Dr. Prasad, HOD of ME Dr. Brahma Raju and
Local Centre Chairman Dr. Suresh Babu took part in this event.
One Week NSS Camp at Mogallu village by NSS Unit of SRKR had ended on Friday. Speaking on this
occasion, Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that students who had identified various problems
of the villagers in this week had to work on them and find apt solutions for the same. Sarpanch of
the village Ms. Krishna Kumari had appreciated the students for their awareness sessions on
Swachbharat and various health related issues. Certificates were distributed to the students who
took part in this camp. NSS Coordinator Dr. Krishna Chaitanya, Dr. Ganesh, KNV Satyanarayana,
Kanakaraju took part in this event. Eye and Skin camp was organised on this occasion.
