College Principal Dr M Jagapathi Raju said on Wednesday that a one-day workshop will be held jointly on the 11th of this month. He said that mainly this workshop will provide training for teachers to provide training in English for students appearing for the TOEFL exams, which are conducted mainly for students joining international educational institutions. A poster related to the workshop was released on the occasion. On this occasion Dr. BHVS Lakshmi, Head of Department of English and Foreign Languages. He said that such a workshop will help the college level teachers to train the students who are writing the TOEFL exam. ETS Delhi Head Rashmi Gera said that special training will be provided to the teachers in the workshop. Due to this, it will be very useful for the teachers to get well versed and improve their skills as well. Everyone is requested to take advantage of this. Coordinator Dr. Satish Kumar Nadimpally and others participated in this program under the auspices of the English Department of the college.
Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju, the Principal of SRKR Engineering College, has established a Help Line Center at the General Computer Center (GCC) for Engineering Web Options. On Wednesday, he provided details to the media about the engineering web options registration, where students can register their preferred groups and the colleges they wish to join. In this regard, experienced experts have been appointed to facilitate the registration process and provide assistance to affiliated colleges for successful registration. Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju also revealed that a special department has been set up within the General Computer Center (GCC) with skilled professionals to effectively manage the web options registration. Many have found great utility by making use of this opportunity and registering successfully on the web options platform. Dr. B.H.V.N. Ramakrishnamaraju,Incharge of GCC, Head of the college Development ,Head of the IT Department, and Dr. N. Gopalakrishnamurthy, Head of the Technology Center, along with Suryanarayana Raju and others from the administration department, have actively participated in these programs.
On the 29th of this month, Saturday, at 2 PM, SRKR Engineering College is conducting a free eye checkup camp for the residents of Chinaamiram. SRKR Engineering College Secretary and Correspondent, Mr. Rama Krishna Nishanth Varma, and Principal Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju informed about this.
They have organized a camp in collaboration with SRKR Engineering College and Prasad & Co., where they are providing free eye check-ups and glasses to those in need.
The NSS Department of the college is also actively participating in this event, as mentioned by NSS Coordinator Dr R. Krishna Chaitanya. Skillful doctors from Bhimavaram Jnananand Hospital will be providing their services.

College Secretary Sagi Ramakrishna Nishanth Varma said Andhra University has awarded
TR KD Varaprasad with Ph D in Mathematics. Dr. Varaprasad was honoured by Nishanth Varma in a special event organized at College on Monday. Principal Dr. M. Jagapathiraju while speaking, he advised the engineering faculty to take advantage of the research centers of different departments of their college and conduct research. It is being said that Ph D will help teachers to prepare students more in the new education system. Varaprasad, who received his doctorate degree, said that Andhra University Professor, Chairman of the Board of Studies, Dr. T Lingaraju. He said that under the supervision of the reasearch conducted by Andhra University Ph.D candidate was on “Perception Analysis of, of study MHD free convects flows fast an induced porous plates with chemical reaction and radiation for his reasearch Andhra University gave a Ph D. Dr. D. Venkatapathiraju, Head of the Department of Mathematics and Humanities and the college faculty congratulated Varaprasad.
College Secretary and Correspondent Sagi Ramakrishna Nishanth Varma said that Nano Research Center is organizing about engineering materials,international conference held on September 25th and 26th. He released the related poster at the college on Friday. On this occasion, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju, principal of the college, said that MECAP-23 Conference is being held in the name of Material Engineering, Material Chemistry and Material Science. He stated that many good results are coming in materials research and their results are reaching the society and this conference is being organized with international experts so that they can be used to a greater extent.
