Students from the Mechanical Engineering Department of SRKR Engineering College achieved remarkable success by securing second place in the ATV Design and Racing Championship at the national level. Principal KV Murali Krishnam Raju shared the details during a congratulatory event held at the college on Monday, where he praised the students for their achievement.
The competition, organized by Sagar Institute of Science Technology and Research in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, took place from September 27 to October 1 under the banner of ISSEE Motor Sports' Formula Off Road Mini Baja-2024. Team Godavarni, representing SRKR, displayed exceptional skills in vehicle designing and racing.
The team consisted of Dangeti Sreesai Supreet, Suda Valli Chandrasekhar, and Boggavarapu Sreesai Suryadeep, who worked on the vehicle design, while Reddy Purnachandra and A. Pushkar Vikas Verma served as the vehicle drivers. Palapuri Venkata Durga Sairam, as the team's captain, earned the title of "Best Captain."

SRK Engineering College students have launched a new startup called Bhimavaram Digitals. This initiative, led by final-year students from the Computer Science and Design (CSD) Department, focuses on digital marketing, advertising, website development, and app engineering. Under the supervision of college faculty, the startup will also offer services in social media marketing and content creation.
As part of this project, Bhimavaram Digitals aims to support local businesses. On Thursday, Nishant Varma of SRK Engineering College launched the startup’s first local business website, developed for Bhimavaram Bombay Sweet Center. The startup was founded by students Prudhvi Varma, Sanju, and CH Ravi, with an ambition to make a significant impact in the Bhimavaram business sector.

In honor of Mahatma Gandhi’s 156th birth anniversary, a special program was organized by the NSS department of SRK Engineering College. Dr. Gandhi PC Khaja, Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Gandhi Memorial Fund and Senior IPS Officer, emphasized the responsibility of today’s students to preserve and impart Gandhi's philosophy to future generations.
The event, presided over by Dr. R. Krishna Chaitanya, NSS Coordinator of the college, highlighted Gandhi’s lifelong commitment to the common man and his belief in the principle of "Manav Seva is Madhav Seva," meaning service to humanity is service to God.

Bhimavaram, September 30 – In a significant step towards enhancing job opportunities for students, Bhimavaram SRK Engineering College has launched a 10-day training program focused on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud and Daywaps technologies. The initiative, aimed at equipping students with knowledge of emerging technologies, was inaugurated by College Principal Dr. KV Murali Krishnamraju under the guidance of the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) Department.
The event saw the presence of Aditya Sundar, a software expert from a leading software company, who advised the students on the importance of mastering new technologies to secure future job prospects. He emphasized that students must integrate their academic learning with innovative technologies to remain competitive in the job market.
Dr. V Chandrasekhar, Head of the CSE Department, presided over the event, with key participation from industry experts, including Pawan Kalyan and other distinguished professionals from various software companies.
