Eye Medical Camp Conducted at SRKREC

SRKR Engineering College Women Empowerment Cell in collaboration with Maxivision had conducted a general Eye Medical Camp at Pedda Amiram village. This camp was inaugurated by the Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju. Speaking on this occasion he said that Technological advancements should be made available to the rural areas too. Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, the flagship programme of central Govt is being followed diligently at SRKR and as a part of this the college had adopted five villages in Kalla Mandal and is creating awareness on Ban of Plastic Items, Providing clean drinking water and many developmental aspects. Nearly 200 patients attended this camp and they were provided with free medicines.

Prize Distribution to Winners of Shuttle Tournament

Prizes were distributed to the winners of Shuttle and Badminton tournaments that were conducted at SRKR, on the occasion of 89th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of the founder of SRKR Sri. Sagi Rama Krishnam Raju garu on 19th July, 2022. Speaking on this occasion Vice President of SRKR Sri. SV Ranga Raju garu and Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that SRKR was planning to host State and National Level Badminton and Volleyball tournaments in the coming days. SRKR PD Dr. Satyanarayana Raju and team participated in this occasion.

Founder's 89th Birth Anniversary Celebrated

The founder of SRKR and the 'METAL KING' awardee by then PM Smt. Indira Gandhi Sri. Sagi Rama Krishnam Raju 89th Birth Anniversary Celebrations were celebrated in a grand manner on 19th July, 2022. The statues of SRKR in his native village Chinna Amiram and in the college were garlanded by the Vice President of SRKR Sri. SV Ranga Raju and Principal of SRKR Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju. Around 100 members from the staff and students donated blood on this occasion through NSS. Speaking on this occasion, he praised the vision of SRKR and the name and fame that the college had today is all attributed to the vision of the founder and the present management. NSS In Charge Dr. Chaitanya, KSS Prasada Raju and HOD's of various departments along with the staff members participated in large numbers.

SRKREC Receives A Grade from NPTEL and stood in Top 100 Colleges in India

SRKR Engineering College stood in the top 100 colleges in India in NPTEL and also received 'A' Grade from NPTEL and IIT Chennai. The certificate relating to the same was handed over to Secretary Cum Correspondent of SRKR Mr. SRK Nishanth Varma by the Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju. Technology Centre Head Dr. Gopala Krishna Murthy had said that NPTEL was started in SRKR in 2017 and until now around 7000 students received the certificates from various prestigious universities across the country. Mr. Nishanth Varma asked the faculty and the students to make use of the technology Centre and enhance their knowledge. SRKR Vice President Sri. SV Ranga Raju also took part in this occasion.

Graduation Day Celebrated on Campus

The Graduation Day Celebrations at SRKR Engineering College were conducted in a jubilant manner on 17th July ,2022. The Chief Guest of this function was Mr. GSN Raju, Chairman-Appellate Committee of AICTE and VC of Centurion University, Visakhapatnam. He suggested the students to make use of the latest technologies and land in their dream jobs. He said that technology was developing very vastly from the last 10 years and students should make use of this technology. Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had presented a brief report on the achievements of the college and placement statistics. Secretary Cum Correspondent of SRKR, Sri. SRK Nishanth Varma had urged the students to make SRKR proud with their great work and bring laurels to the institution as well as their respective families. SRKR Vice President Dr. Krishnam Raju, Sri. SV Ranga Raju, Dean Evaluation Dr. Muralikrishnam Raju and students along with their parents had participated in large numbers.
