Prominent alumni of SRKR and Chairman of Digital Economy Mission of Karnataka Mr. BV Naidu had visited the college and addressed the staff and the students. He suggested the students to pursue research on the problems pertaining to aquaculture like water temperature, feed, pond conditions etc. He examined various projects that re being done by the students in the technology centre and Idea Lab in the college. He said that it would be really feasible if flexibility is there between the start-up founder and start-up user. He said that National Educational Policy will be a revolutionary step towards reforming education sector in India. He was grandly felicitated by the Vice President of SRKR, Sri. SV Ranga Raju, Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju and Governing Council Member Mr. Pratik Varma.
The Engineers day has been celebrated in a grand manner at SRKR Engineering College in collaboration with Institution of Engineers, Bhimavaram Local Centre and Civil Engineering Department. R&B District Engineer Mr. Lokeswara Rao was being felicitated and honoured on this occasion by Vice President of SRKR Sri SV Ranga Raju. Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Lokeswara Rao had said that Engineers play a key role in the development of Nation and makes sure that the nation marches ahead in the path of development. Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that the former students of SRKR are today playing a vital role in the construction of Polavaram Project, Mission Bhageeradha etc. and are in prominent positions across the globe. R&B Deputy EE PV Ramaraju, AE's K. Srihari, M. Srinivas Yadav, K. Pratyusha, RVR Pavan were also being felicitated by the management. Institution of Engineers National Council Member and HOD of Mechanical Dept, Dr. K. Brahma Raju, IEI Bhimavaram Local Centre Secretary Dr. Suresh Babu, Civil Engineering HOD Dr. Prasad, Civil Engg Professor V. Ramaraju along with staff and students attended this programme.
Lord Ganesha Nimmajanam celebrations were held in a grand manner at SRKR Engineering College. Inspite of heavy rains, the celebrations took place in grandeur with the vast number of students and faculty being attended. Ganapati Homam was being conducted in a divine manner by Vice-President of SRKR Sri. SV Ranga Raju. The laddus (Prasada) were being distributed to the devotees. Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju, HOD’s, Deans, Staff Members and Students were present in a large number.
The research centre of Mathematics Dept at SRKR Engg College had conducted 3 months training on 'Mathematics and Statistics Applications in R Language' to BV Raju Degree college students and certificates were distributed to the students who completed the same successfully by SRKR Vice President Sri. SV Ranga Raju. Speaking on this occasion Principal of SRKR, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju had said that the research centres at SRKR are developed in such a way that they are beneficial to the students as well as the researchers. He said that the college is having research centres in Mathematics and Physics departments and urged the students and faculty to make use of the same. This training is conducted as a part of the MOU between SRKR and BV Raju College which was inked in 2020. HOD of Mathematics&Humanities Dept Dr. D. Venkatapathi Raju, Programme Coordinator Dr. R. Upcoming Tollywood movie 'ALLURI' team had visited SRKR college for promotions. Movie hero Sri Vishnu had said that this movie is a message oriented movie and they are very fortunate to shoot the movie in the place where the prominent freedom fighter Alluri Seetharamaraju had born. The college management had felicitated the movie team and wished them all the success ahead. This movie is scheduled to release on 23rd of September. SRKR Vice President Sri.
