SRKR Toastmasters Club has won 3 prestigious awards at the National Level, Secretary and
Correspondent of SRKR Sri. SRK Nishanth Varma had said. He felicitated the students and the
President of the Toastmasters Club Mr. Haswanth Kumar of II IT. Club Incharge Dr. Lakshmi and
Incharge Principal Dr. Suresh Babu, members of the Toastmasters Club had participated in this
event.
For the first time in the state of AP, SRKR had the privilege of setting up an IELTS Centre in
association with IDP, Secretary and Correspondent of SRKR Sri. SRK Nishanth Varma had said. This
centre can be used for the students who wants to pursue their studies abroad and have proficiency
on English language. The Dept of English at SRKR would be training the students on the same. HOD
of English Dept Prof. Lakshmi took part in this event.
Upcoming Tollywood Movie ‘Annapurna Photo Studio’ cast and crew visited SRKR Engg College for
its promotions. The movie unit interacted with the students and urged them to watch the movie and
make it a grand success. The management representatives of the college wished the entire team of
the movie to be a grand success.
Renowned freedom fighter Sri. Alluri Seetharamaraju Birthday Celebrations were held in a grand
manner by SRKR Engg College. The staff and the students took a massive bike rally to Mogallu, the
birth place of Seetharamaraju. SRKR had adopted the village for its beautification. SRKR Vice
President Sri. SV Rangaraju and Incharge Principal Dr. Muralikrishnam Raju hoisted the national flag
and garlanded the statue of the freedom fighter. Staff and students took part in this occasion.
Assistant Professor of ECE Dept Mr. Bandi Sanjay had recived his Doctorate from KL University.
Secretary and Correspondent of SRKR Sri. SRK Nishanth Varma had felicitated him and wishes him all
the best. He urged other faculty also to concentrate on research. HOD of ECE Dr. Uday Kumar and
Incharge Principal Dr. Suresh Babu took part in this event.
