SRKR's IPR Cell guides every inventor through a structured, standards-compliant pipeline from idea to grant.

Step 1 — Invention Disclosure

Inventor submits the Invention Disclosure Form (IDF) to the IPR Cell.
Cell verifies novelty potential and assigns a case officer.
Confidentiality agreement signed with all co-inventors.

Step 2 — Prior-Art & Patentability Search

Search across InPASS, USPTO, EPO, WIPO PATENTSCOPE and Google Patents.
Patentability report shared with inventor within 15 working days.
Go / no-go decision taken jointly with the inventor.

Step 3 — Drafting & Filing

Specification (provisional / complete) drafted with the assigned patent attorney.
Forms 1, 2, 3, 5 & 9 prepared and filed online via the Indian Patent Office portal.
Acknowledgement & application number shared with inventor.

Step 4 — Publication & Examination

Patent application published (18 months) or early publication via Form 9.
Request for Examination filed within 48 months.
Cell coordinates First Examination Report (FER) responses with attorney.

Step 5 — Grant, Renewal & Tech Transfer

On grant, certificate handed over and inventor felicitation organised.
Annuity reminders & renewal management handled by Cell.
Tech-transfer / licensing facilitated via IIC & EDC industry network.
