The Department of CSE (IoT, Cyber Security & Blockchain Technology) — CIC — offers a four-year JNTUK-affiliated B.Tech program with a sanctioned intake of 60 seats. The program was launched in 2022 to address the rapid convergence of connected devices, applied cybersecurity and decentralized systems. The curriculum couples a strong CS core — algorithms, data structures, OS, networks, databases — with deep specialization tracks in IoT Systems, Cyber Security, Blockchain Technology and Edge & Smart Computing.
The Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) describe the career and professional accomplishments that our B.Tech CIC graduates are expected to achieve within a few years of graduation. They guide our curriculum, lab design and industry engagement.
Program Outcomes (POs) define the knowledge, skills and attributes our students acquire by graduation. They are aligned with NBA / NEP guidelines and reflect the expectations of modern technology and security employers.
The Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs) reflect the unique technical capabilities developed by our B.Tech CIC graduates through specialised electives, labs and project work.
A 4-year, 8-semester JNTUK-affiliated B.Tech with a mix of core, professional elective and open elective courses, capped by a full-semester industry internship and capstone project.
Students build end-to-end Internet of Things solutions — from low-power sensor nodes to cloud-scale analytics — for smart cities, smart agriculture and Industry 4.0.
Students gain hands-on expertise across the defensive and offensive sides of modern security — from network hardening to red-team operations and digital forensics.
Students build decentralized applications on Ethereum, Hyperledger and Solana-style stacks, with a strong emphasis on smart-contract security and Web3 design patterns.
Where IoT meets AI — students learn to push intelligence closer to the device, enabling low-latency, privacy-preserving and energy-efficient smart systems.
CIC graduates are equipped for high-demand roles across product companies, security firms, blockchain studios and government cyber agencies.
