Programs Offered

The Department of Computer Science & Design offers a four-year JNTUK-affiliated B.Tech programme with an intake of 60 students. Designed under NEP 2020, the curriculum blends core computer science with design, immersive media, and creative technology — preparing students for roles in software engineering, UX, game development, animation, and AR/VR, as well as for launching their own ventures.

B.Tech — Computer Science & Design

The Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) describe the career and professional accomplishments our B.Tech CSD graduates are expected to attain within a few years of graduation, working at the intersection of computer science, design, and digital media.

  • Graduates will apply strong foundations in computer science, design thinking, and digital technologies to build user-centred products, games, and interactive experiences.
  • Graduates will work effectively in IT, gaming, animation, AR/VR, UX, and startup ecosystems, demonstrating creativity, technical depth, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Graduates will engage in lifelong learning, ethical practice, and leadership, contributing positively to society through technology and design.

Program Outcomes (POs) describe the technical, creative, and professional capabilities our students develop by graduation, aligned with national accreditation standards and the demands of creative-tech industries.

  • Engineering Knowledge: Apply principles of mathematics, computing, and design fundamentals to CSD problems including UX, graphics, animation, and immersive media.
  • Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, and analyse computing and design problems through critical thinking and user research.
  • Design & Development: Design software, interactive products, games, and AR/VR experiences that meet user needs and ethical standards.
  • Investigation: Conduct user studies, usability tests, and experiments to inform design and engineering decisions.
